• How do you find a customer nobody else is serving? : You find an overlooked customer by paying attention to who already asks you for help, then selling them the thing before you build it. I learned that the expensive way. On October 1, 2026 I guest lectured for Dr. Victoria Antin Yates in Intro to Entrepreneurship at Oklahoma State University's Spears School of Business, about 110 students in Legacy Hall, and the whole talk was the contrast between my two businesses: one I iterated on for months before the message landed, and one that walked up and handed itself to me.
• How much does an AI consultant cost for a small business? : An AI consultant costs a small business $1,000 to $3,000 a month for ongoing help, or $1,500 to $2,500 for a one-time assessment. At least, that's what Shimmer Labs charges in Stillwater, Oklahoma, and those are real prices, not a range from a pricing guide.
